Big weekend, we had the Gator Grinder near Portland, The Sooke Sprint Triathlon near Victoria, the Bare Bones Duathlon and the Blossom 10 miler in Penticton.

Leanne captured her first ever age group win at the Gator Grinder.  She swam another post collegiate PR.  Now, we need to working on beating those collegiate times.

At the Sooke Sprint, Duncan reports it was hilly!  I second that, we did it a few years ago, I don't remember any flats.  Who knew a sprint could be that hard.  He also reported he did really well despite an illness.

Hats off to Coach Adrienne for winning the Bare Bones Duathlon (remember she did Wildlfower last weekend – I guess half ironman’s work well for her training).  Close behind was Jen A with another smoke’n bike time.  And Matthew finished his first multisport race successfully.  Thanks to Van Pratt for the great photo’s shown here and for those displayed on the bike barn website.

For the Blossom 10 miler, it was a beautiful day for a beautiful run course and the Factor 9 marathon crew did not disappoint.  Many runners took minutes off their Blossom times from previous years (finishing the run strong is Jan Rhoddy shown above).  One race was not enough for Jen A so she won her age group at the Blossom a day after doing the duathlon.

Here are some more pics from the weekend:
